For the Face AR Try-On feature, Tattoo AI uses Apple's TrueDepth API to enable real-time augmented reality tattoo previews on your face. What Face Data We Collect: When you use the Face AR Try-On feature, we collect: • 3D face mesh geometry (vertex positions, texture coordinates, and surface normals) • Face position and orientation in 3D space • Real-time facial tracking data for AR rendering How We Use This Data: • Exclusively to render virtual tattoos on your face in real-time during AR sessions • To ensure accurate 3D placement, perspective, and lighting of tattoo designs on your facial features Data Processing and Privacy Protections: • All TrueDepth data processing happens entirely on your device in real-time • Face data NEVER leaves your device • Face data is NOT stored on your device or our servers • Face data is NOT shared with any third parties (including AI services) • Face data is NOT used for identification, advertising, or marketing purposes • Face data is NOT used to train AI models • The data exists only during your active AR session and is immediately discarded when you exit User Control: • Face AR Try-On is completely optional • Requires explicit camera permission (you can revoke this anytime in iOS Settings) • You can use all other app features without ever using Face AR Device Requirements: • Face AR requires iPhone X or later with TrueDepth camera • Uses ARKit's face tracking capabilities
We take children's privacy seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
